Got a good workout on the way back up the canyon road but the views were really worth the effort. Our next hike this week will be on Silly Mountain across from the RV park then Friday the plan is to hike Whitford Canyon. There are some great red rock formations and the ruins of a frontier jail. Should be able to get some awesome photos and if we go about a 1/4 mile further there is a slot canyon to explore. I'll post those activities next time. Enjoying our time here but starting to plan our trip back to IL and IN for the holidays. Until next time.
Great photos Curt! Looks like a nice hike. Great to have others to hike with. Will you be flying back for the holidays? Tell Glenda, Hello!
ReplyDeleteThanks Debbie. Great scenery. Plan to rent a car and drive back for the holidays. Glenda says hi.
DeleteYou two have a wonderful Thanksgiving and drive safe! Hopefully the weather will be kind to you.
DeleteSuch great scenery around Tucson, so many different places to hike. So you're going to brave the cold and go north for the holidays, safe travels. One son arrives today for Thanksgiving, other can't make it this year, his significant other just got a new job and we don't want him driving alone from Colorado Springs :( Have a great Thanksgiving
